Alphas
Updated 11/17/2013
In order to reward those that excel and are motivated to achieve greatness within our virtual halls, a new incentive program has just been finalized and put into action, this affects ALL members! A new rank and group have been created to reward those members who are heavily motivated in their studies, and express a drive to ensure the well-being of this House and it's students. The new ranks and groups are called Alphas. The program works as such; Individuals that are found to be exceptional students and prove worthy of such responsibilities within the House may qualify for Alpha status. This Status will no longer be granted as a "first come first serve" basis.
If you ask for it, you will not receive it. This ensures those most deserving regardless of rank will be granted Alpha status. This status is not permanent, and can be revoked should either that particular student be deemed unfit for such responsibilities, or others prove more deserving. This ensures the House stays strong.
As of the present moment there are two Alphas moderating the Prospective grade, they are Drucius and Dharkling. Two seats are still open. There can only be four Alphas at any given time. Members who make Alpha should be viewed as leaders, and they are to be respected as such. If for any reason members have questions and I am not available, look to these individuals for help and assistance.
The primary roles of a Alpha are to offer guidance to other members, and to moderate forums they are given moderation privledges over. What does moderation imply? The deletion of Inappropriate language, the deletion of certain posts should the need ever arise, and the moving of forum threads. Alphas are expected to stay on top of all announcements and updates, this will enable them to assist newer members with any questions they may have. Individuals who make Alpha who are also members of our Facebook group The Black Rose Society will be expected to serve as Admins.
One more thing, and this effects all students as well. ALL students who graduate to a higher grade/rank now have the right to post in the journals of students within grades/ranks below them. Please use this authority with the upmost respect!
